dear friends, family, fans, folks, fellow everyones,

i’m grateful you’re here.

and now for something a little different this week. it was my birthday last week (which means it’s my birthmonth all month, and my birthyear every year) and to celebrate i’m having a show in NYC tomorrow (info below), but to celebrate even MORE, i’m excited to share about a best friend’s beautiful art.

so, below are some jokes and information to help celebrate and spread the word about my dear friend zach sherwin’s east coast CROSSWORD SHOW tour which begins next week!

the crossword show is one of my favorite pieces of art/entertainment ever and if you’re any of the places it is (see below), i give it my strongest recommendation! i’m not performing on these shows, but i will be attending one!

A) tour-a firma:

"terra" means "earth" in latin and "terror" in boston.

boston is the first stop on the crossword show’s tour one week from today! it’s also the metropolitan area where i met zach when we were in college together TWENTY-FIVE YEARS AGO. our friendship is the age of a full-grown person who can rent a car. so rent a car and get to the show in boston, or just take your own car, or better yet, public transportation.

B) can’t spell “i heart NY” without “hate”:

NYC is where i moved from boston and where i live now and where i’ll be attending the crossword show a week from tomorrow. on that day, NYC will stand for Nice, Yes, Crossword! (and on other days, if you like. i’m open to it. NYC: the city that never sleeps on a new fun nickname!)

C) my maine man:

next memorial day, a fun thing to wish people could be a “happy Maine Missouri Rhode Island Alabama day!” because those state abbreviations put together would spell out ME MO RI AL!

i know we’re a little ways off from next memorial day, but maine (ME) is where the tour concludes, as you’ll see below! so if you’re there, you’ll get the opportunity to see it! you also have the opportunity RIGHT NOW to let me know if the town you live in has a street called “main st” and if that’s confusing because you’re in maine, where every street is a maine street.
