i’m always grateful that you are here. thank you.
and now, for some brain-related sillies of the day, from my brain to yours.

A) a discussion between me and my brain:

ME: i'd like to come up with helpful ideas for the world
MY BRAIN: canoe and ocean are made of the same letters
ME: that's not a helpful idea
MY BRAIN: but a canoe is a boat and boats go on the ocean
ME: yes i understand that but
MY BRAIN: ocean canoe!
ME: sigh. ocean canoe

B) part of a conversation between me and YOUR brain:

knowledge about the universe seeps into our brains through a process called "cosmosis."

C) a true story with a silly ending, about my brain and also perhaps your own:

since the pandemic began
i've got comfortable being at home.
now, going out like i used to before is strange.
maybe my brain got used to not being outside as much
and so i call the chemicals that got kicked into high gear...
INDOORPHINS!
