corn on the KOB
(jokes on Kansas, Ohio, Brooklyn)
dear friends who are most likely located somewhere in space and/or time,
i’m glad you are here.
and i’m glad i am wherever i am.
yesterday i was in kansas city.
today i am in columbus, ohio.
tomorrow i will be back home in brooklyn.
as such, i hope you enjoy these geography-related funs!
A) there’s SOME place like home:
*the band Kansas arrives at the airport*
GATE AGENT: will you be checking any luggage? or just...
KANSAS: carry-on, my wayward son1
i can understand not wanting to take down statues of christopher columbus
because those statues discovered america just as much as columbus did
those statues committed fewer atrocities2
C) NYCe one:
Vinny is such a New York name that it ends with the abbreviation for NY.3
and speaking of being back home in brooklyn, did you know…
liz glazer and i are hosting our monthly “liz and myq give advice” show at union hall this sunday, october 17 at 5:30pm!
looking for any advice?
well then, here’s some:
— come to the show!
— ask a question here if you want to. and recommend friends come to the show!
— think about what advice you would give to a friend who was looking for the same advice you’re looking for. AND come to the show along with everyone you know!
hope to see you there!
glad to have you here!
all the best to you and yours and everyone (statues AND people) everywhere!
surprise twist ending the band is also the gate agent's parents!
maybe we need more statues and fewer people?
V in NY!
