dear friends, fans, knights in shining charm or however you are arriving here,
i’m very grateful that you are here.
thank you for being here like you are.
and now, the silly funs for the day.
A) hey, you big oath!:
hey why is "first do no harm" only a thing for doctors? 1
B) another dollop of oath-meal:
first, do no harm.
then, keep doing no harm.
also, if you are doing some harm, stop doing that harm.
never too late to do less harm in the future.
finally, do no harm.
i love you.2
C) OathMG!:
a friend recently shared some new definitions with me:
"i respect the beliefs of all religious and non-religious belief systems (to the degree they don't cause harm)"
-- Omnist
"i taste and sample the best, kindest bits of all religions and non religious beliefs"
-- Om-nom-nomnist 3
and those are the funs for the day!
thank you for receiving them.
in addition, here are some funs for future days:
THIS WEEKEND!
— i’m at the Blackrock Center for the Arts in Germantown, MD on November 12
— i’m at the Madison Theatre on Long Island on November 13
FUTURE WEEKENDS!
— i’m at Union Hall in BK for the next “Liz & Myq Give Advice” on November 28
— i’m headlining Upstairs at Helium in Indianapolis, IN on December 17-18.
NEW YEAR’S EVE WEEKEND! (ALSO A FUTURE WEEKEND)
— i’m headlining The Comedy Vault in Batavia, IL on New Year’s Eve weekend!
thank you for receiving!
all the best to you and yours.
love and gratitude, all.
PS finally, please enjoy this photo of my friend Dalia Malek’s dog Cisco. Dalia was my most recent Broccoli and Ice Cream podcast guest, and there were a few audio dog cameos, so i asked to get some visuals to match those audibles, and here is one of them! a delight!
when i shared this on twitter, a nice fan wrote back “and robots!”
and i second that.
when i shared THIS on twitter, a nice fan wrote back “it's impossible to do no harm. It is always possible to do less harm.”
and i second THAT.
“to nom” is to eat.
e.g. cookie monster says things like “nom nom nom” when he’s eating.
positive self-talk.
he is a nice monster.
another creature that’s like a nice monster is ET (the extra-terrestrial).
and now, with all those ingredients, i offer this palindrome that a person might say in response to someone seeing extra-terrestrials eat and calling them a monster:
”monster? ETs nom!”
No harm, no fowl (vegans and vegetarians).
