today is the birthday of robin williams. i met him once and he was very nice. his performances are legendary and beautiful. i love him. love to all who are missing him, and also everyone else.

i haven’t written any jokes about robin williams in particular, so i’ll do the next best thing ¹ and share some jokes i’ve written involving a robin or some williams.

A) court jesting:

venus + serena = tennis-y williams ²

B) the sheriff of not-in-my-hamlet:

do conservatives and libertarians teach their children that robin hood is wrong to redistribute wealth the way he does? ³

C) do not pass goat:

"it's william goat, actually" -- a pretentious billy goat

2. i’ve shared this one before but it’s one of my favorite wordplays i’ve ever created so i’m happy to share it again and hope you are enjoying it for the first or second or millionth time.
