super here, oh!
comma, thank you for being
top of the thursday to you!1
today i share some thoughts that rose2 up in me today.3
1) advice for myself4, to be taken as literally and/or metaphorically as desired:
sometimes, stop and smell the roses.
other times, go and plant some roses.
2) a shpoem5, about what eventually happened when a certain flower was planted:
3) a new joke seedling that i’m planting here:
with the incredible power
to listen very well
could be called
thank YOU for listening to all of these thoughts as they have arisen.
YOU are a super-hear-o.7
or possibly middle or bottom of the thursday, or even a different day, depending when you are reading this!
rose! foreshadowing! can’t spell foreshadowing without rose! also without “fading who?” … does everyone know about the internet anagram server? it has internet anagram served me very well over the years.
from the bottom to the top? maybe also from the top to the higher than top? from the bottom of my heart AND the top of my head, and perhaps the top of my heart and the bottom of my head as well, and all the places in between. top o’ the bottom to ye!
and anyone who wants it
short poem! PS click here for a shpost of shprevious shpoems! PPS “shprevious” doesn’t really make sense. apologies if that’s too mischievous. though this did lead me to the dictionary’s entry for “mischievous” to double-check spelling and pronunciation (to see if it could legitimately rhyme with “shprevious”), and i found this definition delightful: “irresponsibly playful.” i do endeavor here to be as Responsibly playful as possible, but there’s very likely a spectrum of responsibility in playfulness. as no one’s uncle ben ever said, “with great playfulness comes great responsibility.”
i like that the word “hear” is mostly made of the word “ear.” imagine if seeing was like that. what a sEYEt that would be to behold. what a vision that would be. a super one. a super vision. (please do not try these jokes at home without the watchful eye of a someone knowledgeable, or … adult super vision, which is how clark kent sees as a grownup. bonus joke!)
thanks for being here, or perhaps even for being SUPER here. (oh!) PS that’s what someone with the power to meditate expertly is called: a super-here-oh! meditate on that as much or as little as you like. thank you again for being here. you’re my here(oh!).
