1) I’m doing well, thanks for asking. My heart is full of blood currently. Resting pulse seems normal.
2) Advice-wise, I like what the TV told Mitch. “Forget everything you know about slipcovers.”
3) I really like Mindscape by Sean Carroll. He’s a particle physicist (a good one) and has different guests from different disciplines. I don’t think he’s had a comic. That would be a great episode!
4) I would like advice about how to “know thyself”. I understand my worst tendencies, because that’s how I got into trouble. But the rewards system, where I feel good, that part gets off frequently. IOW, my brain tends towards rewards that eventually lead to punishments. That’s vague, but it makes sense to me.
5) Right now I’m good. Abt to eat a pot pie. (Amy’s veggie with a pickle and some tea.)
Thanks for the feedback. I get too many of my happy brain chemicals from buying and fixing vintage musical studio equipment. It’s an obsession. An expensive one. I also am addicted to sugar. I have a shitty old Volvo and the fob doesn’t work. But nobody can touch my pristine 60s Altec 1567a mic preamp or my 50s Teletronix LA2A compressor. I’m not a drug addict or anything (except for the sugar), but I should probably hang out with humans more.
With respect to how to "know thyself," I'll first say that thou knowest thyself better than I canst ever know thyself.
That said, I'll say these things:
1) I don't believe that there is one holistic, comprehensive, ultimate "self" for you to know. So, I think you're doing a good job knowing yourself so far! Better than anyone else knows you, perhaps!
2) I think can be great to be aware of your "worst tendencies," hopefully so that you can avoid the worst consequences of them.
3) Regarding your brain tending "towards rewards that eventually lead to punishments," do you have any examples? Something like you eat a food that tastes good now but makes you feel bad later? Or something totally different than that?
4) A question: have there been any times in your life that you have felt good in a way that did NOT lead to feeling bad? If so, what is special about that? Can you do more of that?
Those are my thoughts for now!
Feel free to share more if you wish!
Regardless, I wish you positive tendencies and the realization of those tendencies!

Understood, thank you for sharing!
Sounds like you have a fun (if expensive) activity!
Definitely, hanging out with humans can be good for a human's mental health!
Have you heard about the "Rat Park" experiment?
Basically, connection is an antidote to addiction even when the addiction IS to drugs.
Happy to connect with you here!
Just read abt Rat Park. Very interesting! Maslow’s hierarchy sorta situation. Good input Myq.
You got it!
There's also a cute, fun 5-minute-ish animation out there somewhere about Rat Park, if you like taking in information in that form!
Thank you for sharing these answers, my friend!
