I need to sit with the Buddhist concept of impermanence more. I have a good set, I wish I'd recorded it. I think a thought, I rush to type it out and save it. I check my memories on Facebook every day mining old thoughts that can be reshared and made more permanent. I spend my life trying to make an impression that will last longer than my time on earth. But how much longer? A decade? A century? A million years? In the face of infinity are they really any different from one another? So glad I stopped to write these thoughts down...

i am ALSO truly glad that you took the time to write these things down.

because by your logic (which i agree with), writing them down is (in the grandest scheme of the universe) nearly identical to NOT writing them down, with one important distinction:

because you wrote them down AND shared them so i could see them, i got to have the joy of reading them in this moment, the only moment there is!

glad you’re doing what you’re doing NOW (the time we often can lose sight of when thinking of things in terms of years, decades, millennia, and beyond)!

much love and thanks, my friend!

I'm imagining you probing your tooth for that apple peel. I hope you find it. And can prove it.
